An Ohio native, Dr. Rebecca Swartzentruber graduated cum laude from Centre College earning her undergraduate degree in Spanish. She proceeded to earn her Doctor of Optometry Degree from the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago. While attending ICO, she was involved in medical missions as a member of the Fellowship of Christian Optometrists. Dr. Swartzentruber’s passion is primary care with an emphasis on pediatrics and visual development. She resides in Lexington, with her husband and two young children. She enjoys swimming, biking, gardening and a riveting game of cards.
